THE BACKSTORY

Agency trained. Independently proven.

I spent years in agencies handling digital campaigns and social media for major brands. Good training. Terrible inspiration. Too many meetings about meetings. Too many people between the idea and the execution.

In 2016, a few of us went independent and started Trendjackers. We built websites, ran campaigns, and started writing about digital marketing because nobody in the industry was being straight about how any of it actually worked. Over time, some moved on, and others kept building.

Along the way, I designed the digital avatar for Ling Valentine’s £35m car leasing empire (yes, the LingsCars Dragons’ Den legend), built ecommerce platforms handling global shipping, and spent over a decade keeping the UK’s leading independent hip hop label online.
